This elixir was blended with the intention to support the immune system as the seasons shift from summer to autumn. The Goldenrod flowers were wild-crafted in Connecticut within the month of August 2020.
There’s around 100 to 120 different species of Goldenrod. This blooming wildflower is an indication of the end of the summer. Many believe this flower is the cause of the seasonal allergies that come up around this time, but actually, it is the Ragweed pollen that people are finding themselves having a reaction to. Ragweed and Goldenrod bloom at the same time and it’s quite difficult not to blame the vibrant yellow sprigs of Goldenrod that are so widely seen along the roadsides. Goldenrod relies on pollinators to transport their heavy, sticky pollen. Ragweeds pollen is transported by wind for miles and miles, finding itself easily up our noses.
Ingredients: Wildcrafted Solidago (Goldenrod) flowers, honey liqueur, local honey.
Directions: Take a teaspoon 2-3x a day or as needed. Good as a daily supplement taken once daily.
